Be the agent of hospitality and embody the restaurant’s concept as a server. You will have the opportunity to deliver fantastic dining experiences to our visitors and faithful regulars.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests to the restaurant to provide a warm first impression.
- Facilitate the dining experience, conforming to the steps of service.
- Execute service with proper table setting, course timing, and presentation.
- Provide suggestions using your knowledge of our food and beverage menus and preparation standards.
- Introduce daily food and beverage specials.
- Initiate resolutions to guests’ qualms and effectively communicate with management.
- Convey your passion for hospitality, food, wine, craft cocktails, and beer.
- Communicate with members of staff verbally and via point-of-sale to execute service.
- Assist with greeting, seating, bussing, expediting, and providing information.
- Facilitate transactions and calculate change.
- Prepare the dining room and stations for service.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 to 2 years serving experience in a fast-paced dining establishment.
- Experience with a variety of Classic and New American dishes, craft cocktails, beer, and wine.
- Written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to speak and write English fluently.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, carry heavy service trays and dishes, and simultaneously complete multiple tasks.
- Ability to provide necessary documents to hold employment.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
